The Short Stop Drive -In is a Pennington
tradition since 1986. Located on Highway 39, the
Scenic Highway, the Short Stop is across the
street from the Scenic Store in downtown
Pennington. If you are too tired to cook after a
day of fishing, hunting or sight-seeing you can
dine-in or take-out food from the Short Stop.
Great menu items are available including
burgers, fish, pizza, chicken, ice cream and
some of the best fried tacos around the area.
Summer dining hours are 11am-9pm everyday of the
week. The Short Stop is owned and operated by
Renee and Allen Freyholtz.
