The Scenic Store, located in downtown Pennington
(in fact the Scenic Store is downtown
Pennington) is owned and operated by Allen and
Renee Freyholtz.
It is called the Scenic Store because it is
located on the Scenic Highway which is actually
one of Minnesota's Scenic Byways. If you need
groceries, gas, liquor, beer, ice, bait, tackle
or hunting and fishing licenses the Scenic Store
is the place to go. It is also a Post Office and
video/DVD rental store. In addition, the Scenic
Store is the place to go to get all the local
news on the biggest fish caught or the biggest
bear, buck or doe shot in the area. |
